12 Mineral Blocks Auctioned In Goa So Far

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that 12 mineral blocks have been auctioned in the state so far as part of the government’s efforts to revive the mining sector and boost economic activity.

According to the Chief Minister, five of the auctioned mineral blocks are already operational, while work on four more blocks is expected to commence shortly. The remaining blocks are at various stages of the approval and development process.

Sawant further stated that the state government is preparing to auction six additional mineral blocks next month, a move aimed at accelerating mining operations, generating employment, and increasing revenue for the state.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the government remains committed to ensuring transparent and sustainable mining practices while balancing environmental safeguards with economic development.
