Goa: The Goa Crime Branch has filed a chargesheet against accused Soham Naik in connection with the alleged circulation of obscene videos, marking a significant development in the ongoing investigation.
According to officials, the chargesheet has been submitted before the competent court after investigators completed the required stages of the probe and compiled the evidence collected during the course of the investigation. The filing of the chargesheet paves the way for further legal proceedings in the case.
In a related development, the Crime Branch has also submitted a report before the Juvenile Justice Board in another matter linked to the case that reportedly involves minors.
