Neura-Mandur, Goa – July 25, 2025 – A search operation was launched by the police after residents of the Neura-Mandur area reported a strong foul smell coming from near a sluice gate. Acting on a wireless communication from the Agassaim Police Station, authorities began efforts to locate Anil Kuttikar, a man who has been reported missing.
A team comprising Goa Police personnel and water rescue units, including boat teams from Panaji and Old Goa, was deployed to comb the area around the sluice gate. The operation was initiated as a precautionary measure based on local complaints and possible links to the missing person.
As of now, no official confirmation has been provided regarding the outcome of the search.
