OLA ELECTRIC CEO FACES BAILABLE WARRANT IN SOUTH GOA

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in South Goa has officially issued a bailable warrant against Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of OLA Electric. As detailed in the provided file 1000161501.jpg, this decisive legal action follows a consumer dispute concerning a purchased electric two-wheeler.

The underlying case stems from a consumer complaint that was formally filed in March 2024. According to the case details, the Commission took stricter measures after noting a direct non-compliance in the service of notice by the company. The dispute centers around unresolved issues tied to the consumer’s electric scooter.

Consequently, the Redressal Commission has ordered a bailable warrant set at ₹1,47,499, mandating a surety of an equal amount. The matter has now been adjourned, with the commission scheduling the next hearing for further proceedings on February 23.
