UPGRADE THEFT: CYCLE IN, BIKE OUT

A resident of Seraulim has officially filed a police complaint following a brazen motorcycle theft from their residential complex early in the morning. The victim immediately alerted the Colva Police after discovering their two-wheeler missing from the premises. Authorities have since registered the complaint and initiated a preliminary investigation into the theft, which occurred during the early hours when the residential area was largely quiet.

According to police sources, the perpetrator utilized a highly unusual modus operandi to execute the crime. The accused reportedly arrived at the targeted residential complex riding a standard bicycle. After successfully bypassing any initial security measures and gaining access to the parked vehicles, the suspect abandoned their original mode of transport. The thief then managed to start the stolen motorcycle and swiftly fled the scene, effectively upgrading their vehicle in a matter of minutes.

The Colva Police have secured a crucial lead in the investigation, as the entire incident was clearly captured on the residential complex’s CCTV surveillance system. Investigators are currently analyzing the video footage to identify the suspect and determine the exact sequence of events. The abandoned bicycle left at the crime scene has also been impounded as evidence, with police hoping it may yield fingerprints or other identifying clues that could lead to an arrest in this peculiar case of vehicle theft.
