Verna Police have registered a FIR against a man identified as Pratik Chari, a resident of Vasco, for allegedly assaulting two individuals at Cortalim. The incident reportedly occurred near the Zuari bridge area.
According to the complaint, the accused not only physically assaulted the complainant and his brother but also allegedly bit the complainant multiple times on the finger, forearm, and upper arm causing visible bleeding injuries. Police are currently investigating the matter and have confirmed that a case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC pertaining to assault and causing hurt.
