The Goa Petrol Dealers Association has assured residents that there is no shortage of fuel in the state, with sufficient petrol and diesel stocks available to meet demand for at least the next 15 days.
Association President Narahar Thakur appealed to the public not to indulge in panic buying, stating that the fuel supply chain remains stable and uninterrupted. He urged consumers to purchase petrol and diesel only according to their normal requirements, emphasizing that unnecessary hoarding could create avoidable pressure on distribution.
The assurance comes amid concerns over fuel availability, with the association reiterating that all retail outlets across Goa continue to receive regular supplies and there is no immediate cause for alarm.
Authorities and fuel dealers have appealed for public cooperation, stressing that responsible purchasing will help ensure smooth distribution and uninterrupted availability of fuel across the state.
