In a significant outreach initiative, the Goa government has facilitated a Devdarshan Yatra for more than 17,000 Goan pilgrims under the Mukhyamantri Devdarshan Yatra Yojana. The program, aimed primarily at senior citizens and economically weaker sections, offers fully sponsored pilgrimage tours to prominent religious destinations across the country.

Organised in multiple phases, the yatra has seen overwhelming participation, with pilgrims expressing gratitude for the opportunity to undertake these sacred journeys. The state government has highlighted the scheme as a reflection of its commitment to social welfare and spiritual inclusion, ensuring that citizens from all walks of life can access meaningful religious experiences.
