The Public Works Department (PWD) has announced temporary night closures of the New Mandovi Bridge on 14th May and the Old Mandovi Bridge on 15th May, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The closures are being carried out to facilitate the rectification of elastomeric expansion joints and bearings on NH-66 across the River Mandovi in Panaji.
During the closure:
Heavy vehicles will be diverted via Atal Setu.
Light vehicles will be rerouted through the alternate Mandovi bridge.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with traffic authorities during the maintenance work.
