The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa has issued a weather forecast and alert for the week ahead, predicting intermittent rain and cloudy skies from July 11 to July 17, with heavy rainfall likely at isolated places during this period.
According to the 7-day forecast, moderate rainfall is expected across coastal and inland areas, with the possibility of gusty winds reaching 40–50 km/h in exposed regions. Days like July 13 and 15 may see heightened rainfall activity. The IMD has advised residents to stay alert for localized waterlogging, slippery roads, and reduced visibility, especially during peak hours. Fishermen and coastal communities have also been warned to exercise caution due to potentially rough sea conditions.
