Panaji, Goa – July 10, 2025:
The Directorate of Fisheries, Goa, has announced the public sale of white-legged shrimp on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 2:30 PM onward at its office located on Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, Panaji. The shrimp will be sold at ₹350 per kg on a first-come, first-served basis until the day’s stock is exhausted.
This initiative follows the successful pilot cultivation of white-legged shrimp at the department’s Estuarine Fish Farm in Ela Dhauji, Old Goa. The move aims to promote sustainable aquaculture and increase public access to quality seafood at subsidized rates.
