
Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has announced that FDA raids will be intensified across the state to enforce hygiene and food safety regulations. He has given full liberty to the FDA Director to take necessary action, while emphasizing that the goal is not to harass businesses but to ensure public health standards are met. Since August 2024, the FDA has already conducted over 80 raids and 350 inspections, with action taken against several non-compliant establishments.
