Residents have jokingly nicknamed the site “KTC Valley View,” owing to its size and strategic location that jolts every passing vehicle.
The pothole, believed to have formed due to relentless monsoon rains and lack of timely repairs, is now a daily challenge for commuters. With no immediate action from authorities who claim they are “monitoring the situation”. Many travellers are forced to either take alternate routes or brace themselves (and their vehicles) for the bumpy encounter. Locals have even humorously suggested that tourists wear helmets while walking, as a precaution.
