Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has assured taxi operators that the state government is committed to supporting their interests while promoting tourism. Amid growing concerns surrounding the introduction of a taxi aggregator app, the Chief Minister urged stakeholders not to spread confusion or misinformation.
He reiterated that both tourism growth and the smooth functioning of the local taxi industry are government priorities. To address all queries and concerns, Dr. Sawant announced that a detailed press briefing will soon be held to explain the aggregator app’s framework, objectives, and operational guidelines.
