RGP Yet to Receive Manoj Parab’s Resignation

The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has clarified that it has not officially received the resignation of its president, Manoj Parab, amid reports suggesting that he has stepped down from the post.

In an official statement, the party said that while speculation over Parab’s resignation has been circulating, no formal resignation has been submitted to or accepted by the party’s leadership. RGP maintained that the matter will first be discussed internally before any decision is made public.

Party leaders stated that the issue will be placed before the appropriate party forum for deliberation, following which an official announcement will be issued. Until then, the party has urged supporters and the public not to rely on speculation or unverified reports.

The clarification comes amid heightened political attention over the reported resignation, with leaders from across the political spectrum reacting cautiously. Earlier in the day, Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, when asked about the development, declined to comment, saying, “I don’t want to comment anything now.”

As uncertainty continues over the party’s leadership, all eyes are now on the RGP’s internal discussions, which are expected to determine the future course of action.
