Air India has announced the suspension of its direct flight services between Manohar International Airport (Mopa), Goa and London Gatwick Airport (LGW) as part of a broader strategy to realign its international network. The airline cited ongoing aircraft shortages and the need to centralize operations for better fleet management as the key reasons behind this move. The service is expected to be withdrawn by mid-July, though a specific end date has not been disclosed. Passengers holding bookings on the affected route will be re-accommodated on alternate flights, primarily via Delhi and Mumbai, according to airline sources.
