DIG VARSHA CONDUCTS INSPECTION TO EASE PORVORIM TRAFFIC WOES

DIG Varsha Sharma Inspects Porvorim Traffic Conditions

In an effort to tackle the ongoing issue of heavy vehicular congestion, Deputy Inspector General of Police Varsha Sharma conducted an on-road inspection in Porvorim on a Wednesday. She was accompanied by Porvorim Traffic Police Inspector Dhiraj Devidas during the field visit. The primary objective of this hands-on evaluation was to directly address the persistent traffic woes that have been affecting daily commuters in the area.

During the comprehensive on-ground review, DIG Sharma took the time to personally assess peak-hour vehicular movement and identify key traffic bottlenecks along the route. Alongside traffic officials, she actively engaged in discussions regarding immediate corrective measures that could be implemented to quickly alleviate the situation. This direct approach allowed authorities to gain a realistic understanding of the challenges faced by motorists.

Ultimately, the inspection focused heavily on formulating practical, on-ground solutions. By reviewing the conditions firsthand, law enforcement hopes to significantly improve traffic flow along the notoriously busy Porvorim stretch. These initiatives are also geared toward enhancing overall commuter safety, ensuring a smoother and more secure travel experience for everyone passing through the region.
