Heat & Humidity Push “Feels-Like” Temperature Above 48°C in Goa

Goa is experiencing intense heat discomfort as rising humidity levels have pushed the “feels-like” temperature beyond 48°C in several parts of the state.

While the actual temperature hovered around 34.6°C, high humidity has significantly increased the heat index, making conditions feel far more oppressive.

Despite above-normal pre-monsoon rainfall this year, relief has remained limited due to sticky weather conditions and persistently high night temperatures.

Weather experts also caution that a delayed monsoon over Kerala could further postpone its arrival in Goa, extending the current spell of discomfort.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions during peak daytime hours.
