
An attempted theft was reported at the Navnath Mandir in Honda after unidentified miscreants allegedly tried to break into the temple premises. The incident came to light when temple authorities noticed signs of forced entry and immediately alerted the police.
According to preliminary reports, the accused attempted to gain access to the temple’s donation box and other valuables but fled before they could steal any property. The extent of the damage caused during the attempted break-in is being assessed by the temple management.
Police visited the spot, conducted a preliminary inspection, and registered a case. CCTV footage from the temple and nearby areas is being examined to identify those involved. Investigators are also questioning local residents and reviewing other evidence to trace the suspects.
Temple authorities have appealed for enhanced security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. Meanwhile, police have assured that every effort is being made to identify and apprehend the culprits.
