Theft reported at Sai Baba Temple, Curchorem

Curchorem Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a known individual for allegedly breaking into the Sai Baba Temple at Kamral in Curchorem and stealing approximately ₹50,000 from the temple’s donation box. The case was registered following a complaint lodged by the temple authorities.

According to police, the accused allegedly gained illegal entry into the temple premises before decamping with the cash kept in the donation box. The theft came to light when temple officials discovered the missing money and immediately informed the police, prompting an investigation.

Police have launched a probe to recover the stolen amount and gather evidence against the accused. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the theft and are collecting relevant evidence to strengthen the case.

Authorities said efforts are underway to apprehend the accused and complete the investigation at the earliest. Police have assured that appropriate legal action will be taken in accordance with the law once the investigation is concluded.
