Legislators across party lines paid tribute to the victims of the tragic Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub fire during the observance of Goa Legislators’ Day. Members of the Goa Legislative Assembly remembered the 25 people who lost their lives in the devastating blaze at Arpora in December 2025 and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
A solemn one-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to the victims. Several legislators stressed the need for accountability and stronger enforcement of fire safety regulations to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
