Panaji: Fuel supply across Goa has returned to normal after the state received fresh stocks of petrol and diesel, easing concerns over availability and long queues witnessed at several fuel stations.
The Goa Petrol Dealers Association has confirmed that petrol pumps across the state are now adequately stocked, with sufficient fuel to meet demand for approximately 15 days. The association has assured residents that the supply chain is functioning smoothly and there is no shortage of fuel.
Authorities and fuel dealers have urged the public not to indulge in panic buying or hoarding, emphasizing that consumers should purchase fuel only according to their regular requirements. They warned that unnecessary rushes at fuel stations could create avoidable pressure on distribution despite adequate stock levels.
The fresh supply has helped restore normal operations at petrol pumps, with queues gradually subsiding and fuel distribution continuing without disruption. Officials have reiterated that the situation remains stable and that additional supplies will continue to reach the state as scheduled.
Residents have been advised to remain calm and rely only on official updates regarding fuel availability.
