A complaint has been filed against a school teacher in Salcete following allegations of adultery, harassment, and intimidation. The matter was highlighted by Advocate Pratima Coutinho, who claimed that the issue has adversely affected the reputation of a local school.
According to the complaint, the teacher’s 28-year-old wife alleged that she was subjected to repeated harassment and left to care for their three children. It was further alleged that the teacher was involved in an affair with a college student.
The complainant also claimed that she received threats after confronting her husband about the alleged relationship. She has sought legal intervention and protection while urging authorities to conduct a fair and impartial inquiry.
Police have acknowledged the complaint and stated that the allegations are being verified. No arrests have been made so far, and officials said further action will depend on the outcome of the investigation.
