26-Year-Old Dies After Fall in Betim

A tragic incident was reported in Betim after a 26-year-old man lost his life following an alleged fall from a height while carrying out electrical work at Hamza Masjid.

The deceased has been identified as Shejad Khan, a resident of Reis Magos. According to preliminary information, Khan was engaged in electrical work at the mosque when he allegedly fell, sustaining critical injuries. He was rushed for medical assistance but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Saligao Police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated an inquiry into the incident. Officials have stated that, based on the preliminary investigation, no foul play is suspected at this stage. The exact circumstances surrounding the fall will be established following the completion of the investigation and other procedural formalities.
