
Two persons, identified as Akram (45) and Ubed (38), have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of 40-year-old Ali Khan near the Bhatikar Model Housing Board in Fatorda. The victim sustained serious injuries in the attack and later succumbed while undergoing treatment.
According to the police, the incident reportedly arose from a dispute related to a mosque committee. Soon after the stabbing was reported, officers reached the scene, secured evidence, and launched an investigation to trace those responsible.
Based on preliminary findings and witness statements, police arrested the two accused and registered a case under relevant provisions of the law. Investigators are also examining the sequence of events that led to the violent confrontation.
The accused have been produced before the court, while further investigation is underway to determine if others were involved in the incident. Police have appealed to the public to maintain peace and cooperate with the investigation.
