‘No one above the law’: Rane on TCP Action

Goa Town and Country Planning (TCP) Minister Vishwajit Rane reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enforcing planning regulations, stating that “no one is above the law” while addressing recent TCP enforcement actions across the state.

Rane said the department would continue to act against illegal constructions and violations of planning norms irrespective of the status or influence of those involved. He emphasized that strict compliance with regulations is essential for protecting Goa’s environment and ensuring sustainable development.

The minister noted that the TCP Department has intensified inspections and scrutiny of suspected violations. He assured the public that all cases would be handled transparently and in accordance with legal procedures.
