“Come to Goa and Work”: CM at Shackathon 2026

Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant extended an open invitation to innovators, entrepreneurs, and startups from across the country to make Goa their destination for innovation and business, saying, “Come to Goa and work.” He was addressing participants at Shackathon 2026, the state’s flagship innovation and entrepreneurship event.

Speaking to a gathering of aspiring entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and innovators, the Chief Minister highlighted Goa’s growing startup ecosystem and reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering innovation-driven growth. He encouraged participants to look beyond Goa as a tourism destination and instead view it as a hub for technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainable business development.

Dr. Sawant said the state government is focused on creating an ecosystem that supports startups through infrastructure, policy support, mentorship, and access to opportunities. He emphasized that Goa offers a conducive environment for innovators to develop ideas, build enterprises, and contribute to the state’s economic growth.

“Come to Goa and work,” the Chief Minister urged, inviting entrepreneurs to establish their ventures in the state and become part of Goa’s evolving innovation landscape.

Shackathon 2026 brought together startups, students, innovators, government officials, and industry experts to showcase new ideas and discuss solutions across various sectors.
