Valuables Worth ₹20 Lakh Stolen at Savoi Verem House

A major theft has been reported from Vaghurme House in Savoi Verem, sending shockwaves through the quiet village community. According to the house owner, valuables worth nearly ₹20 lakh were stolen in what appears to be a well-planned burglary.

Police sources confirmed that the theft took place late at night when the occupants were away. The stolen items reportedly include gold ornaments, cash, and other expensive household valuables. The owner discovered the break-in upon returning home and immediately alerted the authorities.

Officers from the local police station arrived at the scene and began their investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the burglars gained entry by breaking open the back door. Forensic experts have been called in to collect fingerprints and other evidence.

The incident has raised concerns among residents about rising property crimes in the area. Locals have urged the police to increase night patrols and install surveillance cameras in vulnerable zones. “Savoi Verem has always been peaceful. This theft has shaken our sense of security,” said one resident.

Police have registered a case and are examining CCTV footage from nearby establishments to trace the suspects. They believe the burglars may have been familiar with the house and its surroundings.

Authorities have appealed to the public to report any suspicious activity or individuals seen in the vicinity around the time of the incident.

As the investigation continues, the theft has become a talking point across the region, highlighting the need for stronger community vigilance and improved security measures.
